They lied to me about cameras at traffic light when my car was hit by a hit and run driver. The commissioner later told me where the accident happened has a few cameras and should have footage of the accident. 2 officers I met with before I talked to the commissioner told me conflicting stories. 1 said they are just sensors and have no cameras, the other said the footage belongs to the town and would take weeks to get it. The commissioner apologized for the response of those 2 officers. My house was also broken into once. They did nothing to investigate and simply said it was the job of a dumb kid, nothing they could do about it. So far my experience with the police department has given me the impressions some of the officers are lazy and useless.
